PCAIRSetMaxLevels

Sets the maximum number of levels allowed in the PCAIR multigrid hierarchy

Input Parameters

• pc - the PCAIR preconditioner context

• input_int - the maximum number of levels in the multigrid hierarchy

Options Database Key

• -pc_air_max_levels input_int - the maximum number of levels in the multigrid hierarchy; defaults to 300

Note

This is a safety limit on the depth of the hierarchy; in practice coarsening stops earlier once the coarse grid reaches the PCAIRSetCoarseEqLimit() global unknowns, so the default of 300 is rarely reached and this rarely needs changing.
