Sets the type of approximate inverse applied by PCPFLAREINV

Input Parameters

• pc - the PCPFLAREINV preconditioner context

• inverse_type - the approximate inverse type, one of the PCPFLAREINVType values

Options Database Key

• -pc_pflareinv_type (power|arnoldi|newton|newton_no_extra|neumann|sai|isai|wjacobi|jacobi) - the approximate inverse type; defaults to arnoldi

Note

The polynomial types (power, arnoldi, newton, newton_no_extra, neumann) approximate the inverse with a polynomial in the matrix whose degree is set by PCPFLAREINVSetPolyOrder(). The sai and isai types instead assemble a sparse approximate inverse whose pattern is controlled by PCPFLAREINVSetSparsityOrder(), while wjacobi and jacobi are cheap diagonal inverses.
