Default routine for monitoring progress of TaoSolve()

PetscErrorCode TaoMonitorDefault(Tao tao, PetscViewerAndFormat *vf)

Collective

Input Parameters

• tao - the Tao context

• vf - PetscViewerAndFormat context

Options Database Keys

• -tao_monitor [ascii][:filename] - monitor function and residual norms at each iteration, only ASCII viewers supported

• -tao_monitor_interval interval - only monitor function and residual norms every interval iterations, and the last iteration

Note

This monitor prints the function value and gradient norm at each iteration.
