PetscRandomGetValueReal#

Generates a real random number. Call this after first calling PetscRandomCreate().

Synopsis#

Not Collective

Input Parameter#

  • r - the random number generator context

Output Parameter#

  • val - the value

Note#

Use VecSetRandom() to set the elements of a vector to random numbers.
